Deskbot is actually a very small text to speech programme for those with low vision. Like other text to speech programmes it will not read graphics. It has several speeches so you could set the tone, speed etc.

This animated figure (merlin) sits up on your computer and talks when you copy. It will also snore and do other small things if you have that part on. You set the settings to what you want. I would though suggest to take off the balloon or it will talk and show what it's saying in the balloon. Very annoying.

You do not have to have it start up with windows being you wouldn't use it until you need it. You could for easy access put it into your quick launch. Then use the programme when you need to.
